D&R Part 1: BAR Diagnostic & Repair Part 1 of the BAR required 72 hr minimum Diagnosis and Repair Class
D&R Part 2: BAR Diagnostic & Repair PART 2 of the BAR required 72 hr minimum Diagnosis and Repair Class
*Note: A technician must have either All ASE - A6,A8,and L1 or the entire D&R series Part 1 and Part 2 for initial or license renewal.
Level 1: BAR required Engine and Emission Control Fundamentals Training for those with little or no experience (Not required if you have current ASE A6/A8/L1, or a certificate or degree in automotive technology (and 1 year experience), or the D&R series and have a minimum of 2 years experience in the engine performance area.
Level 2: BAR required Smog Check Procedures Training for Inspector license.
